"We need to stop killing them — take a photo, not a shot."

Arnold Schwarzenegger may have met his match.

While visiting South Africa for the first Arnold Classic Africa sports festival, the actor and former California governor embarked on a safari adventure and found himself being chased by an elephant.

"I couldn't have written this safari encounter better if it was a movie," wrote Schwarzenegger as he shared the footage on YouTube on Tuesday. "I'm absolutely in awe of these beautiful, strong animals, even though some of us had to change our pants after this."

The elephant circled the tourists before speeding toward them as their car pulled away.

"We need to stop killing them — take a photo, not a shot," he continued. "Would you rather be able to experience these creatures or a hunk of ivory? I thought so."
