Aronsson to lead Sweden's TV3, TV6

Will replace acting CEO Hasse Breitholz in September

LONDON -- Manfred Aronsson has been named CEO of Viasat-owned Swedish networks TV3 and TV6, part of the Modern Times Group.

Effective Sept. 1, Arronson will take over the channels, replacing acting CEO Hasse Breitholz, who has held the position for the past three years. Breitholtz will go back to his post as executive vp of Modern Times Group, a post he first took up in 2004.

With pay and free TV channels across 24 countries, including the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovenia and Bulgaria as well as a stake in Russian commercial net CTC, Viasat Broadcasting is one of Eastern and Nordic Europe's biggest broadcasting groups.
