Art guild re-elects Walsh
EmptyThomas A. Walsh, production designer on ABC's "Desperate Housewives," has been re-elected president of the Art Directors Guild Scenic, Title and Graphic Artists.
Walsh was voted into a second three-year term Wednesday, retroactive to Jan. 1. Also re-elected at the guild, which is IATSE Local 800, were first vp Pat DeGreve, secretary Lisa Frazza and treasurer Michael Baugh. John Shaffner was elected second vp, replacing James Bissell.
"Being president of the Art Directors Guild is the best 24/7, non-remunerative professional obligation that a working designer could ever dream of aspiring to," Walsh said. "I'm proud to have the continuing confidence and support of my peers. It means that the ADG is either headed in the right direction or that I just haven't alienated enough members to incite a coup d'etat."
