Asi Burak, Michelle Byrd got Games

Two named co-presidents of non-profit

Asi Burak and Michelle Byrd have been named co-presidents of the New York-based non-profit Games for Change, which uses video games to address social issues.

They will work together on the strategic vision of the organization and jointly oversee all program initiatives, with Burak taking the lead on curation, development, and execution of programs and services and Byrd taking the lead on institutional relationship and partnership efforts, along with fundraising, business affairs, financial management, and communications strategy.

Burak recently joined Games for Change as executive [producer and was previously co-founder of Impact Games, creators of "PeaceMaker" and "Play the News" platforms.

Byrd began consulting with Games for Change earlier this year and previously served for 12 years as executive director of the Independent Filmmaker Project.
