'Bachelor' Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham Expecting First Child
The reality star revealed the exciting news on his Instagram.
A Bachelor baby is on its way.
On Wednesday, former Bachelor star Arie Luyendyk Jr., 37, revealed on social media that he and his fiancee, Lauren Burnham, are expecting their first child together.
Luyendyk Jr. posted two photos on his Instagram account of the couple kissing and embracing as they held up a sonogram image.
“Nothing compares, absolutely nothing compares to the moment you find out you’re going to be a dad,” Luyendyk Jr. said. The proud dad-to-be continued, “We cried, we laughed and it really was such a special moment for us, we’re so freakin’ happy!”
Luyendyk Jr. was chosen as The Bachelor last season, making his debut in January 2018. The season took a surprising turn during the season finale when Luyendyk first proposed to Becca Kufrin only to take back his decision in March.
On After the Final Rose the professional race car driver popped the question to Burnham, who was the runner-up on the reality dating show. The couple announced on The View that they are set to wed on January 12, 2019 in Maui, Hawaii.
