'Bachelorette' Star Ali Fedotowsky to Host NBC Travel Show '1st Look' (Exclusive)
The reality TV star's first episode as host will premiere April 14.
Ali Fedotowsky traveled the world on season six of The Bachelorette in search of her soulmate. Although she may not have found her happily-ever-after with her pick, Roberto Martinez, the reality TV star has found her way to a new job, hosting NBC's travel show 1st Look.
The bubbly blonde will travel to different locations throughout the U.S. to discover the best in food, hotels and nightlife.
“I am so excited to be part of the 1st Look team,” said Fedotowsky. “I feel so blessed to be able to travel with such an incredible group of people in search of all the best things our amazing country has to offer. Thank goodness I got over my fear of flying!”
The first episode of 1st Look hosted by Fedotowsky will air April 14 after Saturday Night Live on NBC on the 10 NBC-owned television stations across the country, which include WNBC (New York), KNBC (Los Angeles), WMAQ (Chicago), WCAU (Philadelphia), KXAS (Dallas-Fort Worth), KNTV (San Francisco Bay Area), WRC (Washington, D.C.), WTVJ (Miami), KNSD (San Diego) and WVIT (Connecticut).
“We can’t think of a better fit for 1st Look than Ali," Marni Kupfer, vp lifestyle production at NBC Owned Television Stations, exclusively told The Hollywood Reporter. "She has a genuine love of travel and a spirit of adventure, which is exactly what we were looking for. This is an exciting time for 1st Look, and we’re ready to hit the ground running."
Fedotowsky first appeared on reality TV as a part of the 14th season of ABC's The Bachelor. After coming in fourth place for Jake Pavelka's heart, she was selected as the star of The Bachelorette. After her season on the show, she became an air news correspondent for the local Fox station in San Diego. Fedotowsky resides in Los Angeles and avidly tweets about her life and adventures.
1st Look is produced by the division’s lifestyle production arm, LX.TV.
