BAFTA sets date for 2011 movie awards

Annual kudofest will take place in mid-February

LONDON -- Next year's British Academy Film Awards will take place on Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011, organizers said Friday.

Presented by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, the annual movie awards show honors movies unspooling on British movie screens during the preceding year.

This year's best film nod went to "The Hurt Locker," with Kathryn Bigelow winning best director.
