Shooting on Mission: Impossible 5 in London could well be put on brief hold for one evening should Tom Cruise ditch his spy equipment, don his tux and head to the BAFTAs.

The actor isn’t up for an award, but following reports in the U.K. press a spokesperson confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that organizers of the awards ceremony were trying to get Cruise to appear as one of the presenters at the ceremony.
