Snow Patrol, the Flaming Lips, the Killers, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Jet are among the acts contributing tracks to the "Spider-Man 3" soundtrack, due May 1 via Record Collection. Snow Patrol's "Signal Fire" is the set's first single and can be streamed from the soundtrack's Web site. The Flaming Lips chip in with "Spiderman vs. Muhammad Ali," while the Killers offer "Move Away" and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs contribute "Sealings." Beyond new tracks from Wolfmother, the Walkmen, Black Mountain, Rogue Wave and the Oohlas, the soundtrack also includes a track from actor Jason Schwartzman, recording as Coconut Records. A special edition of the album is also in the planning stages, with details to be announced. "Spider-Man 3" opens May 4 in U.S. theaters and stars Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst.
