Barry Chamberlain promoted at CBS Int'l

Will continue to oversee offices in Latin America, Asia

Barry Chamberlain has been promoted to exec vp of sales at CBS Studios International and will continue to report to the president of the division, Armando Nunez.

Chamberlain will now oversee the unit's foreign format business, which licenses rights and coordinates the production of localized shows based on CBS-owned content. He will continue to oversee CBS's sales offices in Latin America, Asia and Australia, developing and implementing sales strategies in those territories.

"Barry's business acumen and years of experience continue to be invaluable as we expand CBS's global footprint across all platforms in an ever changing international media landscape," Nunez said.

Prior to his promotion, Chamberlain served as senior vp of sales. He joined CBS Broadcast International in 1999 as vp of sales and was promoted to in 2005 shortly after the division merged with Paramount International Television.

Chamberlain began his international television career in 1992 as a sales coordinator at the Samuel Goldwyn Company.
