Bavaria racks up sales on 'Nothing Personal'

Inks deals for a dozen territories, including Germany, Spain

COLOGNE, Germany -- German sales group Bavaria Film International has racked up multiple deals on Locarno favorite "Nothing Personal," signing agreements for a dozen territories, including Germany and Spain.

MFA in Germany and Isaan Entertainment in Spain picked up rights to the drama about a Dutch woman who leaves all her possessions behind in favor of a nomadic lifestyle in Ireland. "Nothing Personal" picked up a trophy-case of awards in Locarno, including best first feature for director Urszula Antoniak and the Silver Leopard best actress prize for star Lotte Verbeek. The title also won best film, best director and best cinematography at the Netherlands Film Festival.

Other territories signed for "Nothing Personal" include with Austria (Polyfilm), Switzerland (Filmcoopi), Portugal (Prisvideo), Poland (Vivarto), Hungary (Mozinet) and Romanian (SC Clorofilm). Primer Plano Film picked up all rights for the picture for Argentina, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay.
