BBC Worldwide boosts U.S. arm

Matt Forde, Susanna Pollack appointed to New York office

LONDON -- BBC Worldwide on Wednesday promoted Matt Forde to the new role of executive vp sales and co-production across all genres for North America and Latin America, signaling an anticipated upsurge in stateside operations.

London-based Forde, currently director of content acquisitions, will relocate to BBC Worldwide's New York office, where he will spearhead sales and co-production activities across the U.S. and Latin America. He will report to BBC Worldwide managing director sales and distribution Steve Macallister and Garth Ancier, president BBC Worldwide America.

Separately, Susanna Pollack was appointed to the post of senior vp children's business development across the same regions.
