Khalid performed a mashup of his songs "Talk" and "Better" during the 2019 Billboard Music Awards on Wednesday.

The singer opened the performance by singing "Talk" while standing in front of four backup dancers clad in all-white ensembles. Dressed in a trench coat, Khalid casually swayed back and forth as the four dancers moved in unison behind him.

Khalid later transitioned to "Better," which continued the low-key vibe of the performance. Even more backup dancers dressed in all-white joined him onstage as the performance continued.

Khalid stayed consistent and loosely danced throughout the performance. Everyone on stage eventually left the center and made their way to the sides of the stage, which brought them closer to the swaying audience members.
