'Beautiful Life' to air on YouTube

Web site begins show streaming today

Missing the CW's "Beautiful Life"?

Ashton Kutcher's short-lived CW drama is returning on YouTube, where three unaired episodes will be made available starting Thursday. In addition to the two hours that made it to air, one new episode debuts online Thursday and two more will be released Dec. 21.

Kutcher's production company Katalyst secured HP as a sponsor for the effort -- a unique example of squeezing a bit of afterlife from a canceled series.

"Given the rise of social media and the scale of online consumer reach, original content producers like Katalyst are turning to the Web to connect mass audiences with high-quality entertainment programming," said Kutcher in a statement.

"When 'The Beautiful Life' concluded on broadcast television, we were deluged by fans imploring us to bring back 'TBL.' Working with innovative companies like HP and YouTube, we are thrilled to be ending this year by releasing the remaining episodes of 'The Beautiful Life' and taking part in a unique marketing program that could only occur online," he concluded.
