Belgian fest to fete Isabelle Huppert

Francophone film gala begins Sept. 26

BRUSSELS -- French actress Isabelle Huppert will be the guest of honor at the International Festival of Francophone Film, which runs Sept. 26-Oct. 3 in the Belgian city Namur, organizers said Wednesday.

There will be a retrospective of her movies and the festival opener will be Swiss-French director Ursula Meier's debut feature "Home," in which Huppert stars as a mother whose home is threatened by a nearby highway.

Huppert's "Home" co-star, Belgian actor Olivier Gourmet, is the festival's honorary president.
