Ben Affleck, Benedict Cumberbatch and Robert Downey Jr. will participate in the Hollywood Film Awards, which CBS will broadcast live for the first time on Nov. 14. Amy Adams, Jonah Hill, Keira Knightley and Kristen Stewart also will take part in the ceremony, which will include a musical performance by Janelle Monae.
They'll join previously announced participants Gerard Butler, Robert Duvall, Michael Keaton, Julianne Moore, Unbroken's Jack O’Connell, Chris Pratt, Channing Tatum, Dallas Buyers Club director Jean-Marc Vallee, Reese Witherspoon and Shailene Woodley.
Queen Latifah will host the two-hour awards event, which will be held at the Hollywood Palladium. CBS will air a live broadcast starting at 7:30 p.m. ET (delayed for PT) with a red carpet and closing with an afterparty show at 10 p.m. hosted by CBS This Morning anchors Charlie Rose, Norah O’Donnell and Gayle King.
The ceremony, which is in its 18th year, will honor achievement in film in 18 categories. In previous years, the winners were announced before the ceremony, but this year they will be announced live.
The awards are produced by Dick Clark Productions and executive produced by their founder Carlos de Abreu alongside Allen Shapiro, Mike Mahan, Mark Bracco and R. A. Clark. The Hollywood Film Awards is owned by affiliates of THR parent company Guggenheim Partners.
