He's set to start shooting 'One Night Stan' in August, with his brother, Peter Farrelly, executive producing.

Bobby Farrelly, fresh off his box-office win with Dumb and Dumber To, has signed on to direct One Night Stan.

Mark Damon's Foresight Unlimited will launch the project to foreign buyers at Berlin's upcoming European Film Market.

The comedy centers on Stan, a charmer known for his one-night stands and firm commitment to not committing, who falls hard for a dazzler named Amy. When he decides to change his wanton ways, he discovers that Amy has her own ideas about relationships.

It's the first time that Farrelly will direct a feature without his brother, Peter Farrelly, who will still serve as an executive producer and be closely involved.

Casting is underway, with an eye to begin shooting in August from a script by Kevin Barnett (Hall Pass, The Heartbreak Kid), Chris Pappas and Mike Bernier.

"I'm very excited to be directing One Night Stan. Every successful comedy starts with a good script, and this one's a beauty. It's got all the elements I look for — a fresh story, lots of laughs, great twists and plenty of heart. Casting it should be a lot of fun, because there are some fantastic roles," said Farrelly in a statement.

The deal was negotiated by Cynthia Farrelly Gesner of Lichter, Grossman, Nichols, Adler & Feldman, Inc. and CAA on behalf of Farrelly and by Jenna Sanz-Agero on behalf of Foresight Unlimited.

Bobby Farrelly is producing alongside Damon and Serafini Pictures' Susanne Bohnet, with Peter Farrelly, Foresight's Tamara Birkemoe, Shaun Redick, Raymond Mansfield and Grant Cramer executive producing.
