The Berlin International Film Festival wrapped up Sunday, Feb. 25.

The 68th Berlin International Film Festival racked up impressive attendance figures, reaffirming the Berlinale as the world's largest public film festival.

Berlin sold some 330,000 tickets over the 10-day event, Feb. 15-25, on par with recent years.

The European Film Market, which runs concurrent to the festival, hit a new attendance high, with more than 10,000 visitors from more than 112 countries. The EFM screened 800 films over nine days (Feb. 15-24) and registered a return to dealmaking after a soft American Film Market in Los Angeles last November.

The 69th Berlin International Film Festival will run Feb. 7-17, 2019.
