Emmys: Beyonce Fans Are Furious 'Lemonade' Lost to 'Grease: Live'
'Grease: Live' directors Thomas Kail and Alex Rudzinski won the Emmy for best directing for a variety special.
Beyonce Knowles lost on Sunday and her fans expressed their outrage on social media.
Grease: Live's Thomas Kail and Alex Rudzinski took home the Emmy for best directing for a variety special, beating out Lemonade's Beyonce and Kahlil Joseph.
"I wouldn't want to be those guys when Kanye finds out they beat Beyonce," said Kimmel after Kail and Rudzinski walked off the stage.
