Beyonce Sparkles in Elie Saab Gown at N.Y. Premiere of 'Life Is But a Dream' (Poll)

Some fans have expressed disappointment that the singer did not wear this couture gown to the Grammys instead of the black-and-white pantsuit.

Beyonce was in tip-top shape Tuesday night at the New York premiere of her HBO documentary Life Is But a Dream.

The singer had covered up the night before, wearing a graphic black-and-white pantsuit to the Grammys, disappointing some fans who had just watched her fiercely bump and grind in next-to-nothing during the Super Bowl half-time show on Sunday night.

But Tuesday, Beyonce wore a shimmering, sheer, greige, embellished Elie Saab gown with a floral applique. And we have to admit, she fills it out better than the runway model who debuted the gown at Saab's Spring 2012 Haute Couture show.

Earlier today, Miss B sat down with Oprah Winfrey to tape an episode of “Oprah’s Next Chapter” that airs at 8 p.m. Feb. 16 on OWN, followed by Life Is But a Dream at 9 p.m. on HBO.

Winfrey told OMG! Insider: “Beyonce shows the power of vulnerability in a way we’ve never seen anyone do. She opened herself up. She let us see her vulnerable side. She became for us not just this mythical goddess. She became a real woman. She shocked me. I was in tears."

"She did an amazing job … People are going to be amazed. What’s going to happen now is that people are going to feel a connection to her that they wouldn’t have felt before, because she shows us how real she is. She understands that all pain is the same and the way she hurts is the same as other people hurt. That documentary is a game-changer.”

It's worth noting that many fans have expressed the opinion online that Beyonce should have worn this stunning gown to the Grammys, not the casual color-blocked pantsuit.
