BIFCOM closes after three-day run
Location and post expo featured 3D this yearBUSAN, South Korea -- Busan International Film Commission and Industry Showcase, an expo of film location and post-production facilities, closed Monday after a three-day run.
Held under the title “All That 3D,” this year's BIFCOM hosted 49 companies and attracted over 500 meetings, according to the BIFCOM organizer.
Particular attention was focused on "?(Alpha) Centauri," an experimental film by the director Chung Yoon-chul, shot in collaboration with top Korean companies for 3D production such as AZworks, 2i Digital and Keymake.
Separately, Busan Film Commission hosted a location tour of a Japanese film project with a budget of 30 billion won ($26.88 million).
