The former president joins the growing list of the talk show's political guests.

Bill Clinton will appear on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert next month.

Clinton will stop by on Oct. 6, following the conclusion of the 11th Clinton Global Initiative, CBS announced Tuesday.

Clinton is the latest addition to a growing list of politicians who have been guests on the show, including first lady Michelle Obama and presidential candidates Donald Trump, Jeb Bush, Ted Cruz and Bernie Sanders.

Colbert and Clinton should have plenty to discuss with wife Hillary Clinton's current bid for the White House.

Clinton will be joined by previously announced guests Billy Eichner and Florence and the Machine. Clinton was a frequent guest on The Colbert Report, with Colbert, then playing a conservative character, even setting up the former president's Twitter account during a 2013 appearance.
