Dazzling metallic designs proved to be a common thread as stars walked the red carpet at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

For the 2019 Billboard Music Awards, metallics reigned supreme on the red carpet. Among those who opted for gold and silver ensembles that sparkled and shimmered were Olivia Wilde, Kaitlyn Dever, Julianne Hough, Sophie Turner and Cobie Smulders.

Wilde, on the scene as a presenter, wore an embellished gold lamé Ralph Lauren dress buttoned to the top of her neckline. While the Booksmart director’s dress was on the conservative side, she showed off a glimpse of skin with a slit that revealed her golden Giuseppe Zanotti peep-toe heels. To complete the look, styled by Karla Welch, Wilde carried an Edie Parker clutch and wore jewelry by Loree Rodkin and Nancy Newberg.

Booksmart actress Dever went the silver route with a pantsuit by Bec and Bridge that featured a clean-lined jacket (worn casually open) and matching cigarette pants slit at the front of her ankles to reveal silver Christian Louboutin shoes. The 22-year-old actress further accessorized with baubles by Fallon Jewelry and EF collection.

No surprise that the Game of Thrones star, who was the face of Louis Vuitton’s Tambour Horizon Connected Watch campaign, opted for a bold-shouldered floral-patterned silver jumpsuit from the spring 2019 collection of the French fashion house. She was styled by Kate Young.

Taking advantage of Las Vegas’ warmer temps, Hough arrived at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in a beaded three-piece suit (consisting of a blazer, shorts and a matching bralette) by Genny. She completed the crystal-embellished platinum ensemble with sparkling Christian Louboutin shoes.

Actress Smulders turned to the fall 2019 Cong Tri collection for her red carpet minidress, which evoked silver confetti. To finish her ensemble, The Avengers actress slipped into silver Giuseppe Zanotti open-toe sandals and donned Loree Rodkin and Nancy Newberg jewelry.
