Billboard Music Awards: Vanessa Hudgens Channels Celine Dion
Hudgens, who is hosting the awards show with Ludacris, belted out "The Power of Love" onstage.
After praising Nicki Minaj's opening act and rapping as a "test" for co-host Ludacris during the Billboard Music Awards, Vanessa Hudgens aced another pop quiz.
The actress was talking about how she used to sing Celine Dion songs when she was 7 years old when Luda encouraged Hudgens to fire up her lungs and show the audience her best Dion rendition.
She chose to perform "The Power of Love," the song originally recorded by Jennifer Rush in 1984 before several other artists went on to cover the tune, including Dion in 1993.
The Billboard Music Awards aired live at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT Sunday on ABC from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Keep up with all the latest news here.
