Billboard Promotes Mike Bruno to Senior VP Digital Content
Bruno's digital leadership helped bring Billboard.com to its best-ever month in February, according to early reporting from comScore.
Billboard said Tuesday that Mike Bruno, former digital content vp, has been promoted to senior vp digital content, effective immediately.
"Mike Bruno's new role puts emphasis squarely on Billboard's digital evolution and success story," said Janice Min, co-president and chief creative officer of Guggenheim Media's Entertainment Group, which consists of Billboard and The Hollywood Reporter. "We've seen explosive record-setting growth in the last year since Mike joined, and we expect to continue on that path with enhanced content strategies, new digital and video offerings, and a continued presence as the industry’s must read and pulse."
Bruno's digital leadership helped bring Billboard.com to its best-ever month in February, according to early reporting from comScore. In January, Billboard notched 15.2 million worldwide uniques, according to comScore—a 77 percent increase over the prior year.
With 12.4 million followers across Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, Billboard continues to show growth for 2015. Billboard/The Hollywood Reporter Media Group is the fifth-largest entertainment/news site, according to comScore.
