Billy Eichner Goes on Trump Rant During Halloween Game on 'The Late Show'
During his late-night appearance Monday, the 'AHS: Cult' actor dressed as a banana while comparing the White House to 'Hocus Pocus.'
Billy Eichner went on a rant about Donald Trump during an appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Monday night.
Dressed as a banana to celebrate the show’s Halloween broadcast, Eichner was quick to steer the conversation to how much he hates the president. “I hate Donald Trump. I am sick of Donald Trump, with everybody who associates with him and today is just the beginning. Anybody celebrating Halloween this year is complicit!" Eichner yelled to Colbert.
Proceeding to compare Halloween to his political opinions, Eichner added, “Your kids shouldn’t be going out tomorrow night looking for candy. They should be looking for answers.”
“You see pumpkin carving, I see bullying," said Eichner. "You see Casper the Friendly Ghost, you know what I see when I look at Casper the friendly ghost? White Privilege. I’m sick of it."
Making light of Eichner’s spontaneous rant, Colbert joked, "So what else is on your mind?"
Continuing to maintain a politically focused interview, the American Horror Story: Cult actor informed Colbert that he created a game for them to play called, “Hocus Pocus or Trump’s White House.”
Eichner then explained that the Late Show host would have to identify whether certain facts apply to the Halloween film, the White House or to both.
Eichner’s “facts” included: “Features a bunch of evil, hateful women,” “Has inspired Bette Midler to do a lot of screaming and complaining,” “Ben Carson believes it’s real” and “Ends with a lot of people going to jail.”
Eichner also read statements that he believed only applied to the White House, to which Colbert agreed.
Statements included: “Features Homophobes,” “Features Misogynists,” and “Inspires me to want to reach through the TV screen and furiously shake Sarah Huckabee Sanders, saying, ‘Why are you doing this?'"
Trying to quip about the Halloween film, Eichner followed the “White House Fact” with “Inspires me to want to reach through the TV screen and start furiously shaking Sarah Jessica Parker while screaming, ‘Why are you doing this?”
“Hocus Pocus,” Colbert answered unable to hold his laughter.
