First Trailer for Ang Lee's 'Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk' Debuts Online
Kristen Stewart, Vin Diesel and Steve Martin star in the Oscar-winning director's first film in four years.
The trailer for Oscar-winning director Ang Lee's first film since 2012's Life of Pi is here.
Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk stars newcomer Joe Alwyn as Billy, a young solider who is home on leave for a victory tour after a harrowing battle against Iraqi forces. Through flashbacks, the audience gets a clearer picture of the events of the fight.
The trailer begins with a voiceover: "It's sort of weird being honored for the worst day of your life."
Kristen Stewart, Chris Tucker and Garrett Hedlund also star in the Sony movie, as well as Vin Diesel and Steve Martin.
Lee, always one for technological advancement in his filmmaking, shot Billy Lynn at 120 frames per second (the standard being 24).
The increased frame rate has been described to THR as if the audience was "looking through a window."
Billy Lynn will hit theaters on Nov 11.
