'Black-ish' Star Anthony Anderson's Wife Files for Divorce After 16 Years of Marriage

Anthony Anderson and his wife are splitting up.
The Black-ish star's wife, Alvina Anderson, has filed for divorce, TMZ reports. She cited irreconcilable differences and is seeking spousal support.
Court documents state that the couple separated in April 2014. They have been married since 1999 and have two children, 19-year-old Kira and 15-year-old Nathan, according to People. Alvina is asking for primary physical custody and joint legal custody of Nathan.
Anderson is known for roles in films such as Transformers, The Departed and Kangaroo Jack and for appearing on TV series including Law & Order, The Bernie Mac Show and Guys With Kids.
Anderson's rep did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
