'Blackbook' voted all-time top Dutch movie

Verhoeven features three times in national poll

AMSTERDAM -- Paul Verhoeven's "Blackbook" will go into the history books as the best-ever Dutch feature -- at least according to a new nationwide poll carried out by pubcaster VPRO.

The wartime drama is one of three Verhoeven titles in the poll's top five. "Soldier of Orange" ended up occupying the third spot while "Turkish Delight" took fifth.

Former Dutch Oscar contender "Simon" took second while romantic comedy "Love Is All" came in fourth. "Love" is nominated for seven Golden Calves at this year's Dutch Film Festival where the poll results were revealed Thursday evening.
