Blur to headline T in the Park

Reformed band playing three European dates in July

LONDON -- Recently reformed U.K. rock act Blur is the latest band confirmed to headline Scotland's T in the Park festival, staged by DF Concerts on July 9 to 12 in Balado, Kinross-shire. It will join already announced acts Kings of Leon, Snow Patrol and Katy Perry.

Scheduled for the main stage on Saturday, July 11, the performance will follow the band's return to the stage in London's Hyde Park, July 2 and 3. The shows will be the first time the full band has played together since its Royal Festival Hall performance of 2000.

The Scottish headline slot is a far cry from the band's last appearance at the inaugural T in the Park 15 years ago, where they shared the King Tut's Wah Wah stage with Oasis and Pulp.
