BMHE signs Warner Home Video deal

'I Am Legend,' 'Gone With the Wind' among titles for India

NEW DELHI -- Big Music & Home Entertainment has inked a licensee deal with Warner Home Video for titles including “Gone With The Wind” and “I Am Legend,” the companies said Thursday.

BMHE said that as Warner’s licensee for India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, it will distribute BluRay, DVD and VCD format titles from the Warner library, including the upcoming “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.”

In October 2007, BMHE inked a similar deal with Universal Pictures.

BMHE is owned by Reliance Big Entertainment, whose parent Reliance ADAG is in talks to fund DreamWorks’ exit from Paramount for a reported $550 million.
