Bob Kain joins CAA Sports

Industry veteran formerly with IMG, Cleveland Browns

NEW YORK -- Former IMG president/CEO Bob Kain has joined CAA Sports as a strategic adviser.

CAA said that Kain will be working with management on new business. CAA Sports has in two years grown to represent 400 athletes, broadcasters and personalities.

Kain had for the past two years been vice chairman of the Cleveland Browns and advised on the acquisition of the English Premier League's Aston Villa Football Club. A 30-year veteran of IMG, he was named CEO/president in 2003. He played a leading role in the agency's international expansion. He left IMG in 2006.

"Bob's strategic vision and business acumen have made him one of the most accomplished and well-respected executives in all of sports," said CAA president Richard Lovett.
