Bobby Jindal Compares Donald Trump to Charlie Sheen, Rips Him as "Narcissist"
"He's a narcissist. He's an egomaniac. The only thing he believes in is himself."
Bobby Jindal held a press conference in which he eviscerated Donald Trump at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., on Thursday.
He called Trump a "narcissist," an "egomaniac," "shallow" and a "carnival act." This followed a campaign video Jindal released comparing Trump to Charlie Sheen. The video took quotes from Sheen and Trump talking about "winning."
The Hollywood Reporter reached out to Donald Trump for his response, via his representative.
“He did not make the debate stage and therefore I have never met him," said Trump. "I only respond to people that register more than 1% in the polls. I never thought he had a chance and I’ve been proven right.”
During his press conference, Jindal said, "It's been a lot of fun, but here's the problem: Donald Trump is not a serious candidate. He's a narcissist. He's an egomaniac. The only thing he believes in is himself. The reality is that, I want to say what everybody is thinking about Donald Trump, but is afraid to say."
Jindal said Trump has "no understanding of policy" and "believes in nothing but himself."
"He's an entertaining narcissist but he's still a narcissist," said Jindal. "Like all narcissists, Donald Trump is insecure and weak." He later added, "We know that only a very weak and small person needs to constantly tell us how strong and powerful they are."
Jindal pointed out that in a recent interview Donald Trump was asked his favorite verse from the Bible, but he couldn't name one.
"Donald Trump's never read the Bible," exclaimed Jindal "The reason we know he's never read the Bible — he's not in the Bible."
