The Blumbouse and Universal horror-comedy stars Kathryn Newton and Vince Vaughn.

Universal Pictures and Blumhouse Productions’ spooky horror-comedy Freaky will hit theaters on Nov. 13, 2020.

The film — a twisted take on Freaky Friday — stars Kathryn Newton as a 17-year-old high schooler who switches bodies with a relentless serial killer played by Vince Vaughn.

Freaky tells the story of a mystical ancient dagger causing the villain and the young girl to wake up in each other's bodies. The girl has just 24 hours to get her body back before the switch becomes permanent and she’s trapped in the form of a middle-aged maniac forever. The only problem is she now looks like a towering psychopath who’s the target of a city-wide manhunt.

From writer-director Christopher Landon, Freaky also stars Celeste O’Connor, Misha Osherovich, Uriah Shelton, Alan Ruck, Katie Finneran and Dana Drori.

Freaky is produced by Blumhouse Productions in association with Divide/Conquer. Couper Samuelson and Jeanette Volturno executive produced.
