Bravo Ups Three Execs in Development and Production

Lara Spotts

VP development Lara Spotts gets senior status, while Jenn Levy and Kathleen French become senior VP production.

Bravo has elevated three executives and added Oxygen Media oversight for two others.

The cable network announced Thursday that development's Lara Spotts and production's Jenn Levy and Kathleen French have all been upped to senior vp status. Additionally, senior vp production operations David O'Connell and vp program strategy and acquisitions David Brewer each gain oversight of Oxygen Media — on top of their Bravo duties.

STORY: Frances Berwick Sets Senior Management Team at Bravo and Oxygen

Spotts, the head of development at Bravo, will lead both scripted and unscripted efforts on both coasts. The network recently handed out its first series order to a scripted program, giving the greenlight to Marti Noxon's Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce. She will remain in New York, reporting to Bravo and Oxygen Media president Frances Berwick.

Levy's production portfolio includes Shahs of Sunset and the Million Dollar Listing franchise, in addition to overseeing executives in charge of Top Chef. She also helped develop Real Housewives spinoff Vanderpump Rules.

French runs production on newcomer Southern Charm and the forthcoming Ladies to London — while also overseeing executives on a slew of current productions. Levy and French are both based in Los Angeles and report to Bravo Media senior vp production Shari Levine.

Both O'Connell and Brewer's newfound ownership of their respective departments at both Bravo and Oxygen come as the networks have become increasingly uniform in their leadership. Berwick took on oversight of Oxygen, in addition to Bravo, in September 2013 with the exit of Jason Klarman
