Bruno Mars to Debut 'Breaking Dawn' Music Video During MTV Special

The singer will reveal the clip for “It Will Rain” on Wednesday, Oct. 26 during an exclusive sit down interview with the network.

Twihard alert: Bruno Mars will bring his new music video, featuring never-before-seen clips from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1, to MTV.

The Grammy award winner will debut his clip for “It Will Rain” on Wednesday, Oct. 26 at 7:54 pm ET during an exclusive sit down with MTV. Mars will answer fan questions, which can currently be submitted via video (on and Twitter, and participate in an extended interview with Sway Calloway to be broadcast live on Twilight soundtrack Music Supervisor Alexandra Patsavas will also be on hand for the event, as well as a few lucky super fans.

The first single from the soundtrack, which also features Christina Perri, Aqualung & Lucy Schwartz and Mia Maestro, hit iTunes on Tuesday, Sept. 27 and immediately began climbing the iTunes chart.  The track peaked at No. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100. The complete album is slated for a Nov. 8 release.

"The Twilight movies for me [are] a love story. But it's a dark love story. And I think the best way to describe the song is: it's the darker side of love. I think that pretty much sums it up,” Mars told of the song.

The penultimate movie in Stephenie Meyer's vampire saga is due in theaters on Nov. 18 of this year, with Part 2 scheduled for Nov. 16, 2012.
