Breakthrough sells 'Uganda,' 'Crime Stories'

Also sold 13 half-hours of 'Manic Organic'

TORONTO -- Canadian producer and distributor Breakthrough Entertainment has made a series of factual programming sales, with the historical documentary "Uganda Rising" going to History Channel (U.K.), the company announced Tuesday.

Other sales include 48 one-hours of "Crime Stories" landing with Germany's Telecast and TV4 in Sweden, and 12 one-hours of "War of the Wheels" going to Discovery in Germany and broadcasters in Russia and Canada.

Breakthrough also sold 13 half-hours of the lifestyle series "Manic Organic" to broadcasters in Hungary, Russia, Israel and South Africa.
