Brie Larson's Trigger-Happy Feature 'Free Fire' Gets Release Date

Armie Hammer also stars in the thriller, which is set for a wide release via A24.

Free Fire is blasting its way into a theater near you next spring. 

Distributor A24 said Thursday that Ben Wheatley's shoot-'em-up will open nationwide on March 17.

Brie Larson and Armie Hammer star in the 1970s-set action-thriller that centers on two gangs of criminals who become trapped in a shootout when an arms transaction goes south. Paisley, erroneous facial hair and firearms abound.

Cillian Murphy and Jack Reynor also star in the feature from executive producer Martin Scorsese.

Free Fire will open opposite Disney's Emma Watson-starring live-action Beauty and the Beast.
