Brie Miranda Bryant Joins Reality at Lifetime
The exec, most recently of BET, has been named senior vp unscripted development and programming at the A+E net.
Lifetime is adding to its reality team, naming Brie Miranda Bryant senior vp unscripted development and programming.
“I’ve long admired Brie’s strong creative instincts and great relationships and could not be more thrilled to welcome her to Lifetime,” Lifetime executive vp and head of programming Liz Gateley said Monday in a statement. “Her diverse skill-set in navigating the worlds of publishing, film and television has translated into hit-making and I can’t wait to see what she develops next.”
Based out of New York, Bryant will join Mary Donahue, svp, development and programing overseeing development and programming at the network that's responsible for Dance Moms, Bring It, the Little Women franchise and, of course, Project Runway. She fills the void left by Mariana Flynn, who left in April.
Bryant comes from BET Networks, where she most recently held the same title. She also worked at Oxygen, where she spent a decade overseeing such series as Bad Girls Club and The Preachers.
