'Merlin' and 'Escape to the Country' are among the titles to join the streaming service, the programming on which already includes 'Coronation Street' and 'Strictly Come Dancing.'

QI, a quiz show hosted by Great British Baking Show star Sandi Toksvig, the Escape to the Country franchise and the feature docudrama Against the Law are among the titles the streaming service BritBox will offer American subscribers, via a content deal with FremantleMedia International.

The deal, unveiled Wednesday at MIPCOM, will see the FremantleMedia slate join a programming roster at the video streaming service from BBC Worldwide and ITV that already includes a host of BBC and ITV shows, including Brideshead Revisited, Pride and Prejudice and Inspector Morse.

BritBox, in which BBC Worldwide and ITV each share an equal majority stake, recently added popular reality shows like Strictly Come Dancing and I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, along with Cold Feet, Red Dwarf, EastEnders, Coronation Street and Emmerdale.

In its latest catalog deal, BritBox also nabbed from FremantleMedia the Merlin drama, which stars John Hurt, Colin Morgan and Katie McGrath. BritBox launched in early 2017 as a streaming destination for British entertainment in the U.S. market.

"We work with both our in-house FremantleMedia UK and third-party producers to collate a bold, diverse and exciting catalogue of the very best of British programming, and we’re thrilled that U.S. viewers will get to enjoy it via BritBox," said Lisa Honig, executive vp international distribution for FremantleMedia International in North America, in a statement.
