NBC, ABC, Fox program repeats against CBS' Big Game
Broadcasters are staying out of the way of the Big Game this year.
While CBS airs the Super Bowl, NBC, ABC and Fox will run repeats instead of original programming aimed at luring away audiences during halftime.
ABC will air a marathon of repeats from its Wednesday-night comedy block, NBC is putting up a couple encores of "The Biggest Loser" and Fox will run its usual mix of local programming and animation.
It's pretty rare nowadays that broadcasters specifically program to counter the Super Bowl, though ABC did last year with a special episode of "Wipeout."
