Broadway's 'Spider-Man' Suffers Slight Dip in Sales

The long-running 'Wicked' retained the No. 1 sales spot last week with $1.54 million.


The troubled production Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark suffered a slight dip in Broadway sales last week.
Previews of the show (which officially opens March 15) grossed $1.26 million last week (during the week following New Year’s Day, the $65 million musical earned nearly $1.6 million -- surpassing Wicked for the top spot).
But Wicked retained the No. 1 position last week, with $1.54 million; The Lion King grossed $1.33 million.
