'Broncos' all ready to ride with Coolidge

Jennifer Coolidge is ponying up to join the cast of "Gentleman Broncos," Jared Hess' comedy being produced by Mike White and Ben LeClair's Ripcord banner.

Michael Angarano, Sam Rockwell and Jemaine Clement star in the movie, which follows a high school outcast who attends a camp for writers. There, his story gets ripped off by a legendary fantasy novelist. Hess and his wife, Jerusha, wrote the script.

Coolidge is playing the mother of the teen (Angarano). The movie is in production.

Coolidge, who recently rejoined Gersh, is known for her work in the "American Pie" franchise and in Christopher Guest's movies. She recently wrapped Dimension's "Soul Man" opposite Bernie Mac and Samuel L. Jackson.
