'Brotherhood' actor lands 'Ride-Along'

After a lengthy search, "Brotherhood" star Jason Clarke has been tapped as the lead in "Ride-Along," Shawn Ryan's cop drama pilot for Fox.

"Ride-Along," set and to be filmed in Chicago, centers on Chicago born-and-bred Detective Jarek Wysocki (Clarke), one of the city's toughest cops. He is a local legend and outsized character with a wicked sense of humor who struggles to clean up the town's violence and corruption.

The casting could bring the two stars of Showtime's critical darling "Brotherhood," Clarke and Jason Isaacs, back together. Isaacs headlines another Fox/20th TV drama pilot, "Pleading Guilty."

Clarke, who next appears in "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps," recently wrapped the indies "Trust" and "Yelling to the Sky." He is repped by UTA and Robert Stein Management.
