Bruce Campbell Says Picture of Alleged Bloody Trump Supporter Actually Makeup Test For 'Ash vs Evil Dead'

"Check your facts, folks."

Actor Bruce Campbell got on Twitter Tuesday night to set the record straight about a picture of a bloodied woman some were saying was an injured supporter of Donald Trump who was allegedly hurt when she met with a group of liberals. 

It turns out the woman in question is actress Samara Weaving, and the picture of her graphic injuries was actually a makeup test for Campbell's Starz show Ash vs Evil Dead. 

"Check your facts, folks. This is an actress named Samara Weaving from #AshVsEvilDead. This is a make-up test. Sad," Campbell tweeted. 

The picture may have been believable for some due to the fact that Trump supporters and protesters have been clashing at rallies around the country and violence has broken out. 

Trump has become the presumptive GOP presidential nominee, winning even more delegates Tuesday night, including those in California.
