Bruce Paisner re-elected at Int'l Academy

Fred Cohen re-appointed chairman

NEW YORK -- The board of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences has re-elected president & CEO Bruce Paisner for a fourth term, starting Jan. 1.

After being re-elected to another two-year term, Paisner, who has been at the helm of the organization since Jan. 2004, re-appointed Fred Cohen as chairman.

The election was held Monday ahead of the 37th International Emmy Awards Gala here.

"This is a great organization and it continues to grow in stature and visibility around the world," said Paisner who highlighted that members hail from more than 50 countries.

Paisner is a long-term executive at Hearst Corp., supervising its Cosmopolitan-TV networks in Spain, Latin America and Canada.
