BT Vision, Setanta pact for soccer rights

Customers will gain access to Premier League games

LONDON -- BT Vision has inked a deal with sports provider Setanta Television to provide free Premier League soccer rights to BT customers that purchase television packages of 14 pounds ($28) and more.

The deal is similar to one Setanta struck with cable platform Virgin Media this year and provides an opportunity for viewers to access a limited number of exclusive Premier League soccer matches without having to subscribe to the higher-priced sports packages offered by pay TV rival BSkyB.
