Bad Robot is said to have immediately taken the matter to the agency, which conducted an internal investigation.

The sudden departure of Adam Berkowitz from CAA on Monday occurred just days after an incident at the Emmys' Governors Ball, where the veteran agent allegedly groped a television executive.

At a Sept. 17 party following the Emmy Awards ceremony, Berkowitz allegedly grabbed the crotch of Bad Robot head of television Ben Stephenson. CAA and reps for Berkowitz have declined comment.

"Bad Robot has a policy to respect the confidentiality of all of our employees and therefore will do everything within our power to ensure their safety and protect their privacy," Bad Robot said Tuesday in a statement, declining further comment.

Bad Robot, which along with its co-CEO J.J. Abrams is represented by CAA, is said to have immediately taken the matter to the agency, which conducted an internal investigation. Per multiple sources, Berkowitz was not in the office late last week as the matter was being investigated.

Earlier this month, longtime WME agent Adam Venit resigned from that agency 10 months after he was accused by actor Terry Crews of grabbing his genitals at a 2016 party. Venit was subsequently sued by Crews.
