Caitlyn Jenner to Appear in New Season of 'Transparent'
Jill Soloway called the news "a dream come true" in an interview Saturday at the GLAAD Media Awards.
Caitlyn Jenner will appear on the upcoming third season of Transparent, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed.
Transparent creator and executive producer Jill Soloway said Jenner’s future appearance on the show is a “dream come true” in an interview with The Associated Press on the GLAAD awards red carpet Saturday night.
"We are all part of the same community. A lot of the transwomen who work on our show are also in her show, I am Cait," said Soloway according to AP. "Lots of crossover. Lots of friends."
Jenner took home a GLAAD award for best documentary series for her show I Am Cait. She she shared the honor with the show I Am Jazz that follows a transgender teen’s experiences.
Transparent also took home a win for outstanding comedy series. The Amazon show stars Jeffrey Tambor as Maura Pfefferman, who comes comes out as transgender to her friends and family.
