It was only a matter of time.

Looks like MAC Cosmetics was keeping a secret from us this whole time. The beauty brand may have said back in June that it didn't signed Caitlyn Jenner as its new face, but there was certainly a partnership in the making.

MAC announced on Friday that the reality TV star has teamed up with the makeup label for a new MAC lipstick called "Finally Free" in a rosy nude shade. According to Jenner, she chose the name because "I wanted a name that I use, and which represents the community. This is who I am: Finally Free."

For every purchase made on the #MACCaitlynJenner lipstick, 100 percent of the selling price will go to the MAC AIDS Fun Transgender Initiative, which supports the transgender communities.

When asked why she chose to collaborate with the beauty company, Jenner said she was already aware of the Viva Glam campaigns, which have seen Miley Cyrus, Rihanna and Ariana Grande as ambassadors, and saw that those proceeds went to helping AIDS and HIV causes so she became curious to know if MAC would want to do something similar but geared toward trans issues.

"Before I came out, the impression I had of MAC was, 'That’s quality; that’s the good stuff.' Not only is it the good stuff, but MAC also has the willingness corporately to use its reach to make a difference, to change people’s minds," Jenner said. "To help raise funds for HIV and AIDS, and in our case, for trans issues."

The MAC x Caitlyn Jenner "Finally Free" lipstick ($17) will be available in April in select markets.
